Housing

The practice was appointed as the ‘executive architects’ for this project by a client relocating from the city to the country. The project consists of a four bedroom dwelling, traditional in style, set in a very remote location.  Graham Rivers Architects redesigned the plan to make better use of the space while keeping the overall form. The house utilises the surrounding paddocks with 200m of pipework trenching and ground source heat pump to sustainably heat the building.

Appointed contractors, Chappell & Dix Limited, brought their valuable local experience and traditional building methods to this project.
